Primo's is our go-to pizza place in Danville. It has a great location in the heart of downtown that's very easy to get to, right off of the Diablo 680 exit. Parking will never be a problem. Primo's has a dedicated parking lot with a few spots that are usually full, but there's plenty of street parking and a huge free lot across the street, behind the clock tower.
There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, including a bar section. We usually grab a table in the bar section, where we can watch sports on their several TVs.
The classic combination pizza is our favorite. It comes with a generous healing of toppings and the large is enough to feed three hungry adults. Primo's also has daily happy hour pricing from 3pm-6pm.
The last time we were there, there was a hand-written sign with a list of beers that had special pricing, $5 a pint or $13 a pitcher. Our server pointed to the sign to call our attention to it. It sounded like a great deal so we got a pitcher of the Prohibition Ale. Halfway through our meal, our server informed us that the pricing on the sheet was wrong and that it was $18 a pitcher, not $13. He was friendly about it and we didn't want to make a fuss. I just wish they offered to honor the $13 price for the pitcher that we had already ordered and mostly consumed. Oh, well. Mistakes happen and our server may not have felt he had the authority to make that customer concession.
Overall though, Primo's is a terrific place for a family or friends meal, or even a fun date. -

This is a nice little pizzeria in downtown Danville. It has a good atmosphere and is a good place to watch a game and hang out. However, there are definitely better places to go for pizza.
The pizza at primos is ok. I think their sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste, and the crust is a bit thicker than I like. The fried ravioli are just regular ravioli that they threw into a deep fryer - not breaded. We tried the fried Brussels sprouts, and they were pretty good. I can't knock the food too much here, but there's just better pizza to be had in the area.
They do have a cool special when there's an A's game on. If you order a corona, you get a free A's pint glass with your beer. Pretty cool! -

Post run club dinner at Primo's- will run for pizza is my life motto but I was a little disappointed with the pizza tonight.
We had a large group sitting outside, not everyone ordered food and we didn't all order at once. My boyfriend and I ordered the tater-tots and a mini pesto chicken pizza. The tater tots came out first and all it had on there was cheese and half of the tots were burned black. I couldn't believe they actually let this come to the table. No one asked if we needed anything else and no one came out to check on us so I had to take the plate inside to complain about the burned tots and lack of ingredients that should have been on our appetizer according to the menu. I thought they would quickly remake the tots but we got our pizza and finished it all before the new tots came out which were still missing the sour cream. At this point I was just annoyed and frustrated with the lack of service that I wanted to pay and leave. I wish I could have had better things to say for this Danville staple but they really didn't perform well.
I will say that if you're just going to grab a beer and watch the game this is a great place to do it at, just make sure you sit at the bar or order your drink from the bar. -

The pizza has been good and they will deliver but they use the app Slice but fail to check that system. Second time this has happened where we call after the pizza is supposed to be here and they say "oh, it slipped through the cracks." Yes, we should have just called them but we won't be doing that cuz we are done with Primo's!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30pm. The place was quiet. Once you walk in you are greeted by the hostess and she is very nice. Inside the restaurant there is plenty of seating for big groups and families and there is a bar in the front. If you like to watch sports they do have TV's everywhere. In the back of the restaurant they also have lots of games where kids can play games. I ordered a small BBQ pizza and it was about $20 bucks. Not exactly cheap for pizza but they do take their time to make it very fresh for you with good ingredients and fresh vegetables. It is better than your typical pizza place because they do give you a good amount of meat, cheese and vegetables. The pizza taste like a good quality home made pizza. There are tons of other things on the menu like salads, pasta etc. I didn't get a chance to try the other stuff. Pizza is was good!
